On May 1st around 1am, the Cortland County Sheriff’s department conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Downtown Cortland, for a traffic violation.
During the investigation officers determined the operating of the vehicle Nicholas P. Crosby, was driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and operating the motor vehicle without an interlock device.
Officers arrested Crosby and transported him to the Cortland County Sheriff’s office where he was processed and held for arraignment through the Centralized Arraignment Process.
He was charged with DWI (Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operator (Felony), Operation of Motor Vehicle without Interlock Device (Misdemeanor), Passed Red Signal, Unlicensed Operator, Refusal to Take Breath Test (All Violations).
