The driver in a one-car wreck last night was found unresponsive at the scene near Tompkins Street and Starr Road.
Members of the Cortlandville Fire Department responded just before 9 pm and determined the vehicle had sheared a pole on Starr Road, splitting it half.
Crews provided treatment to the unconscious driver and removed them from the vehicle.
That person was transported by TLC-EMS to Upstate Hospital for further treatment. No updates on their condition were given.
Nobody else was involved in the crash.
Starr Road was closed between Tompkins Street and Glenwood Avenue, while utility companies worked to repair the pole and restore services to the area.
