A 21-year-old Brooklyn woman has been charged with Driving While Intoxicated after last week’s fatal one-car crash in Dryden that killed 26-year-old Bronx native Glennys Cordero, a SUNY Cortland student and TC3 graduate.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office identified the driver as 21-year-old Annabelle Liz. The crash happened on Livermore Road just after 3:30 Wednesday (May 15) morning.
Not much more details about the crash itself have been released, but a felony complaint from Dryden Criminal Court stated that Liz admitted to an investigator she consumed six alcoholic drinks beforehand.
She was charged with vehicular manslaughter, inappropriate speed and unsafe changing of lanes, in addition to her DWI count. She was arraigned in Dryden Town Court and released to reappear tomorrow (May 22) at 3:30 p.m.
