Homer Schools superintendent Tom Turck issued several updates this week on COVID-19 in his district.
Yesterday, he announced that a staff member at the high school tested positive, which resulted in quarantines for an additional employee and 16 students.
That followed Monday’s announcement of a confirmed positive in a student at the intermediate school.
Five staff members and 37 students were then quarantined: 24 at the intermediate school and 13 at the elementary school.
All learning schedules remain unchanged for the time being.
