The City of Cortland is inviting businesses and organizations in downtown Cortland to help the city transform downtown into a winter wonderland. The city has organized a Downtown Cortland Holiday Window Decorating Contest.
The City of Cortland made participation easy for businesses and organizations with two ways to win. The city will have all businesses be automatically in the running for the Cortland Holiday Spirit Award. There will be a panel of judges who will decide the winner and no sign-up is needed.
The second way to win will be for businesses for a chance to win the People’s Choice Award. This award does require pre-registration and can be found HERE. Registration is due by December 9th.
Residents in the Cortland area will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Christmas display from December 12th to the 26th with the winners being announced during the Midnight on Main during New Years Eve.
