The village of Homer will host a socially distanced 9/11 memorial ceremony tomorrow starting at 6 pm and likely to run no longer than one half-hour.
Members of the village police and fire departments will be on-hand, along with others from American Legion Post 465.
Community members can attend as long as masks and other COVID-19 protocols are followed at all times.
Tomorrow’s gathering will take place at the village’s own memorial site next to the fire department on Main Street.
For more on the event, WXHC spoke with police chief Bob Pitman and fire chief Mahlon Irish.
