A family argument in Willet apparently got out of hand Sunday afternoon and Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Justin Granata, 31, who police say was arguing with family members, at a home on Lower Cincinnatus Road.
Deputies say Granata fired two shots into the ground, near a home, which had children inside.
No one was injured, according to police.
Among the charges Granata faces are Reckless Endangerment, Weapons Possession, Menacing, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Sheriff’s Sgt A.D. Phelps says Granata is due back in Willet Court tonight (Wednesday).
