The New York Department of Environmental Conservation Forest Rangers responded to Thayer Preserve Lick Brook in Tompkins County on Thursday, August 3rd around 7:40 in the morning to assist the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office in locating a missing person.
Forest Rangers then organized a search within the preserve and about an hour later (8:40), rangers as well as other searchers were able to locate the missing 46-year old person.
The person was carried by Rangers and taken via an ambulance to the hospital.
