Deadline Approaching for TC3’s Free Veteran Semiconductor Training

The July 1st deadline for military veterans to apply to TC3’s semiconductor training is fast approaching.

The Microelectronics and Nanomanufacturing Certificate Program combines live-streamed lectures and hands-on training in a cleanroom environment. After twelve weeks, participants will earn a certificate from Penn State and will be eligible to take the three nanotechnology certification exams proctored by international standards organization ASTM International.

Started by a National Science Foundation Project at Penn State, the group and its partners look to help meet the needs of growing semiconductor and microelectronic workforces throughout the region. TC3’s collaboration with Cornell University will be the latest extension of the program.
