A Cortlandville woman was arrested last week for possessing and using stolen credit cards on four separate occasions at two different nearby locations.
Investigators with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office say 31-year-old Natalie Jones, of Fairview Drive, posed as the victim to make several purchases from the Tops Market and Kinney Drugs stores, both on Route 281 in Cortlandville.
Jones was arrested at her home on Thursday, after an investigation into the stolen wallet that contained the credit cards she’d been using.
Her charges include two counts of 4th-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property (Class “E” Felonies), 2nd-degree Identity Theft (Class “E” Felony), 3rd-degree Identity Theft (Class “A” Misdemeanor), and two counts of Petit Larceny (Class “A” Misdemeanors).
Following her arrest, Jones was released on appearance tickets to return to Town of Cortlandville Court on June 1.
