CVFD extricates 1 in early morning rollover

One person had to be extricated this morning after a one-car rollover on State Route 13, in front of Adhan Piping.
Cortlandville Fire Department was called to the scene just before 5 am.
Upon arrival, crews found a single occupant trapped in the passenger side of the vehicle with a serious leg injury.
They were able to free the individual within 8 minutes using the “Jaws of Life” device.
The patient was taken immediately to Upstate University Hospital by TLC ambulance.
A second occupant of the vehicle was uninjured in the crash.
New York State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
