On today’s Meet Cortland County segment:
Experience Cortland director Meghan Lawton spoke about a brand-new initiative aimed at building community morale and getting local businesses back on their feet.
The “Cortland County Comeback Campaign” partners together the County Legislature, the BDC/IDA, the Convention & Visitors Bureau (Experience Cortland) and the Chamber of Commerce with the City of Cortland, Town of Cortlandville and Village of Homer.
In addition to pooling financial support, the effort hopes to encourage unity throughout the county and will also serve as a centralized hub for information about reopening phase progression.
This will include safety protocols enacted by local businesses and any changes to business operations.
Additionally, the campaign will spotlight local businesses and also run and special community art contest.
