Cuyler Woman Arrested For Damaging Property Owned by Power Company

On Monday, June 24th, officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office arrested Elena T. Park of Cuyler after an investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s Office that began back in November 2023.

The Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a call in the area Pease HIll Road in the Town of Cuyler for a criminal mischief complaint on November 8th, 2023. An investigation by the Sheriff’s Office determined that Park had damaged property that belonged to a power company. On November 30th, an arrest warrant was issued for her arrest.

She was located months later on June 24th and taken into custody. She is facing a charge of Criminal Mischief in the 2nd, a Felony. Park was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and was later arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process. Due to bail reform, Park was released on her own recognizance.

Park is due in Cuyler Town Court next month.
