Officers responded to a residence in the Town of Cincinnatus on Sunday, May 14th, in an attempt to locate a wanted man, who had several warrants out for his arrest.
They were able to locate the wanted man, 46 year old Jason E. Rice of the Town of Cuyler at the residence. Officers also found in his possession drugs and drug paraphernalia during his arrest.
Rice was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd, a Felony, and Criminally using Paraphernalia in the 2nd, a Misdemeanor. He was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office. Rice was later arraigned through the centralized arraignment and remanded to Cortland County Jail on $10 cash bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Cincinnatus Town Court this evening.
