The City of Cortland Police Department is reporting a string of fryer oil thefts that have occurred in the area recently.
CPP says there is information of individuals stealing oil from local restaurants and that the department is working to develop further victims of the thefts. Police ask if you have fryer oil that is stored for a restaurant or other business, to check on your supply and call police if you have been victimized at 607-345-3943.
