On Friday, December 30th, a detective for the City of Cortland Police Department who was working in the area of the Port Watson Street Parking lot witnessed 37 year old Nicole L. Evener of Cortland, operating a vehicle within the parking lot with a suspended license.
Evener was stopped by police and arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation. While police were arresting Evener, they found she had in possession a large amount of Heroin and Meth. She was also found to be in possession of Ecstasy tablets, hydrocodone, and Molly.
A large quantity of cash, scales, and drug selling materials was also found in her possession. The overall value of the drugs found exceeded $10,000 dollars.
Evener was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd and in the 3rd, both Felonies. 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, 2 counts Criminal Use Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd, all Misdemeanors.
She was sent to Cortland County Jail with no bail and is scheduled to appear in Cortland City Court at a later date.
