Couple charged following raid on Main Street in Cortland

Two people were arrested Friday (June 11) at the scene of a narcotics search in the city of Cortland.

It happened on Main Street at the residence of 39-year-old Jody Minor and 41-year-old Nicole Osborne (pictured).

Execution of the search warrant was a joint agency collaboration involving the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, along with the city of Cortland and village of Homer Police Departments.

There is also an ongoing investigation headed by the Cortland County Drug Task Force.

During their search on Friday, officers located approximately:

  • 4 grams of cocaine
  • 148 baggies of heroin
  • 30 buprenorphine pills
  • 6 ounces of the street drug known as “Molly”
  • An undisclosed amount of cash

Minor’s charges include:

Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree – Two Counts (B Felony); Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia – Two Counts (A Misdemeanor); Conspiracy in the 4th Degree (E Felony); Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree (D Felony); Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (A Misdemeanor).

Osborne faces similar charges:

Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree- Two Counts (B Felony); Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia- Two Counts (A Misdemeanor); Conspiracy in the 4th Degree (E Felony); Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree (A Misdemeanor); Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (A Misdemeanor).


Appearance information was pending arraignment at the time of this release.
