County Recycling Center Announces Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

The Cortland County Recycling Center says this year there will be two household hazardous waste collection days. The first event will take place on Saturday, April 11 at the Recycling Center on Pendleton Street in the City of Cortland. It will run from 8 a.m. to noon. No appointments are required.

The household hazardous waste collection day is only open for those who live in Cortland County. Materials from commercial entities will not be accepted.

The recycling center says the second collection day will likely happen in October. An exact date has not been determined yet.
