The Cortland County Recycling Center is asking county residents when they go to recycle items, that they do not place their recyclables in plastic bags. The Recycling Center says to leave your recyclables loose in your totes.
If you have any questions regarding recycling, the Recycling Center offers tours of their facility to see how recycling is done and an opportunity to learn what happens with the items that are brought there.
For a tour, the Recycling Center asks you to call ahead to schedule an appointment at 607-753-5191.
