A man from Lafayette turned himself in to investigators from the Cortland County Sheriff’s office Wednesday.
Dylan Platt, who is 25, was arrested for eight felony charges after he was linked to Burglaries in the Town of Taylor in January and February.
According to county police, Platt went into two separate homes on Union Valley Road and stole several items, causing more than $5,000 damage.
No one was home at the time of either break-in.
Charges include Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Grand Larceny and Conspiracy.
Platt was arraigned and sent to the Cortland County Jail awaiting $50,000 cash bail.
Additional arrests are possible, according to police.
