During the Cortland County Legislatures monthly meeting, the last until the month of August, the legislature voted to approve awarding the bid for the phase 5 renovation work at 22 West Court Street in the City of Cortland.
Overall, three bids came in for the renovation work with the county selecting Boland’s Excavating, based in Conklin, NY, as the winning bidder with an estimated cost of $426,400.
Work continues to create the former TC3 Extension Center to become the county’s Department of Emergency Response & Communications Facility.
Funding for phase 5 will be coming from a grant via the New York State Department of Homeland Security and will have no cost to the county or taxpayers.
