County Highway Announces Road Closures For Next Week – Storm Damage Cleanup Continues

The Cortland County Highway Department has announced Hawley Woods Road between Telephone Road and Taylor Valley Road will be closed on Monday, July 22nd from 7 to 3:30pm. The closure is to allow crews to facilitate the removal of numerous trees which were damaged during the severe weather earlier this week. Road closure signs will be in place.

In addition to the Hawley Woods Road closure, on Tuesday, July 23 from 7 to 3:30 in the afternoon, West State Road will be closed between Webb Road and Curtis Road for a culvert replacement project. Again road closure signage will be in place.

Motorists are asked to find an alternative route during both of the road closures.
