County Health Departments Alerting Residents of Recall of Car Seats

The Cortland County Health Department is alerting residents of a recall affecting certain Evenflo Revolve360 Slim car seats with a model number beginning with 3681. The health department says the car seats were sold in both the US and Canada and are being recalled due to a possible choking hazard.

The hazard comes if a child in the seat accesses and removes foam from the headrest. The health department added the seat itself remains safe to use if the foam is still intact and out of reach of the child. A repair kit with protective materials will be sent to registered users next month free of charge.

Those who have the recalled seat and do not have it registered, the health department says you can still register it online HERE. The seat in the recall has not been distributed by the health department’s Traveling Tots program.
