County Health Department Announces Upcoming Car Safety Seat Check

The Cortland County Health Department has announced an upcoming child safety seat check for Saturday, September 27th from 10am to 2pm at the Christian Assembly of God located at 175 Port Watson Street in Cortland. The car seat check is free for parents/guardians looking to ensure their child safety seat is properly installed.

The event will have on-hand a certified child passenger technician who will check for proper installation, harnessing and the overall safety of the seat itself. The health department says the check is aimed to educate families and caregivers about how to safely transport children and reduce seat misuse.
