On Friday, August 4th, officers from the Cortland County Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence located on Church Street in the City of Cortland.
During the search, officers located three suspects inside the residence: 27 year old Mickayla M. O’Donnell, 44 year old Shane D. Willis, both from Marathon, and 37 year old Nina C. Hopkins of Cortland.
Inside the residence officers found nearly 14 grams of Cathinone (Molly), 38 packages of fentanyl, packaging material, scales and an undisclosed amount of cash. The drugs found have a street value over $1,000.
Officers charged all three with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd, a Felony, and 2 counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd, a Misdemeanor. All three were transported to the Sheriff’s Office and are awaiting arraignment.
The Cortland County Drug Task Force is a coalition of area police agencies including the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, City of Cortland Police, Homer Police Department, New York State Police, and State University Police at SUNY Cortland.
