On Friday, April 14th, the Cortland County Drug Task Force conducted a drug investigation on Cedar Street within the City of Cortland.
Through the investigation, 40 year Shauna M. Hamilton of Cortland, was found in her possession 3 bags of Fentanyl and cocaine. Further investigation of her residence, officers found nearly 15 grams of meth, packaging material, scales and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The street value of the drugs is nearly $1,500. Hamilton was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd, a Felony, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, and 2 counts of Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia, both Misdemeanors.
She was arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process and is held in Cortland County Jail on no bail.
