Both the City of Cortland Police Department and the County Drug Task Force joined together to arrest a Cortland man on an active arrest warrant on Thursday, July 13th.
Officers arrested Richard W. Hoy of Cortland. While searching Hoy, officers found additional drugs in his possession including: Meth, N-Dimethylpentylone, and cathinone (Molly). He was then transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing.
Hoy faces 2 Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th. He was arraigned and later released on his own recognizance.
