The Cortland County Department of Social Services (DSS) will be teaming up with area agencies in March for the first ever Community Resource Fair on March 12th from 10am to 2pm at the Cortland County Office Building Gymnasium.
County DSS will put together local resources under one room to bring awareness to county residents of what is available to them within Cortland County. The goal of the resource fair is providing information on services available and how/where to access it for individuals and families in the community who are homeless, at risk of losing housing or benefits, or have low income.
During the fair, participating programs will be providing handouts and other giveaways. There will also be numerous representatives from behavioral health, medical health care, housing services and various other supportive service agencies in the Cortland Community.
The Community Resource Fair is free to attend. Additional information is available for residents by contacting Cortland County DSS at 607-753-5265.
