Cortland County Clerk Elizabeth Larkin says she listened to customers and has announced some changes.
Beginning March 1st, the County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office will be fully open to serve walk-in DMV customers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm – with no appointment needed.
You can make an appointment on Thursday and Fridays each week, same hours. It’s easy and proving popular. And it’s not just younger customers.
“We have a lot of mostly seniors who are computer-savvy and they are the ones who seem to like the appointments the best, because there’s no wait time,” said Larkin. “They’re not standing in line. They can get in, get their business done.”
Make an appointment using the link on the County Clerk or DMV website or go to Setmore.com.
Emergency walk-ins may be allowed, but appointments get priority on Thursdays and Fridays.
