19,400 people from Cortland County were working in February, 100 more than February 2016 for a half-percentage point increase.

Ithaca led the state with job growth of 3.1%.
Elmira lost the most jobs over the year, at 2%.
Job gains were largest in the Educational/Health Services industries and Professional and Business Services.
