A Cortlandville woman was charged with additional animal abuse charges on Monday, August 21st by the Cortland County SPCA Law Enforcement Department after an investigation of animal abuse.
Kristina L. Sunshein (37) of Kingsley Ave in Cortlandville was charged with three counts of Overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals; failure to provide proper sustenance, a Misdemeanor for failure to provide necessary veterinary care.
Sunshein was previously charged with 5 counts of Failure to provide food and drink to an impounded animal and 1 count of Overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals; failure to provide proper sustenance back on August 11th of this year.
She was charged with an additional counts when she appeared for her arraignment on the previous charges.
The Cortland County SPCA says the investigation remains ongoing.
