Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a trespass complaint on Tuesday, August 29th at 3700 Homestead Ave (Stevens Manor) in the Town of Cortlandville.
As officers investigated the complaint, they learned 27 year old Katilynn M. Matthews of Cortlandville had intentionally provided false information to officers, which then interfered with the investigation.
She was arrested and charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd, a Misdemeanor. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and later released on an appearance ticket.
Matthews is due back in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
