Cortlandville Woman Arrested After Shoplifting at Walmart – Found With Drugs

Officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart in Cortlandville just after 4 in the afternoon on Monday, November 4th for a reported larceny. During the investigation into the larceny, officers determined 51 year old Barbara S. Naylor of Cortlandville, had stolen from the store.

While being taken into custody by officers, she was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Naylor faces charges of Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, both Misdemeanors. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and later released on an appearance ticket. Naylor is due in Cortlandville Town Court later this month.
