Cortlandville Price Chopper Raises Over $24,000 For Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign
Bell ringers for the Salvation Army were able to raise $24,455.66 at the Price Chopper on Route 13 in the Town of Cortlandville for the months of November and December, Price Chopper announced. In total, over $623,000 was raised for the Red Kettle Campaign at all Price Chopper and Market 32 stores.
The money raised at the Cortlandville store will go to the Cortland Salvation Army.
“Every donation made at our stores has a direct impact, allowing The Salvation Army to provide hope and assistance to those who need it most,” said Pam Cerrone, Market 32 and Price Chopper director of community relations. “We’re proud of our longstanding partnership and incredibly grateful to our customers for stepping up and supporting their important work and making a difference in the lives of so many.”
The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign is a well-known fundraiser around the holidays with the ringing of bells next to a large red kettle. The fundraiser offers people a simple way to support those in their community by making a quick donation.
