The Cortlandville Planning Board receives a request from Gutchess Lumber to add a 2,500 square foot metal building addition to an existing sorter building.

Another new proposal is to remove some of the spray wash bays at the Classy Chassis Car Wash in favor of more vacuum stations.

Also new, a discussion with Ray Energy about a proposal to build a railroad terminal to bring in and store propane behind the old Suburban Propane building on Route 11 in Cortlandville. The propane would be stored in above ground tanks and delivered by tanker truck to wholesale customers.

A Suit-Kote plan to replace two older storage tanks at its Loring Crossings site with four new tanks is back before Cortlandville planners tonight. The company believes this falls under approval granted in 2007. The company asks that its plans for Phases II and III to replace older tanks over the next five to ten years be considered as an amendment to the 2007 plan. Suit-Kote says the total storage capacity under all of this will be less than what was already approved.

Regan Development Corporation will be back before the Cortlandville Planning Board to further explain its plans for a 26-acre mixed-use commercial and multi-family project on Rt 13 across from Bennie Road. Regan says it has significantly reduced the size of the project, which includes one four-story commercial and multi-family building and three independent business sites that could be home to fast food, for example.

The Cortlandville Planning Board meets at 6:30 Tuesday night.
