On Sunday, April 2nd, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the Town of Cortlandville for a reported burglary.
As officers arrived on scene to the call, they found 37 year old Michael A. Grossi of Cortlandville inside the residence. A continued investigation found Grossi had unlawfully entered the residence and caused damage to multiple items inside the residence.
Officers also learned Grossi had a full away Order of Protection against him from one of the occupants inside the residence.
He was arrested and charged with Burglary in the 2nd, a Felony, Criminal Mischief in the 4th, and Criminal Contempt in the 2nd, both Misdemeanors. Grossi was arraigned at CAP and remanded to the Cortland County Jail on $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bail bond, or $200,000 partially secured bond with 10% down.
Grossi is scheduled to reappear in Town of Cortlandville Court tomorrow (April 5th).
