Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance back on November 21st in the Town of Cortlandville. After an investigation, officers determined 23 Charles H. Batsford of Cortlandville had endangered the welfare of a child.
The investigation showed Batsford has acted in a manner that was likely to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child. Officers arrested Batsford on December 18th of this year and charged him with Endangering the Welfare of Child.
He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and arraignment. He was later released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
