Cortlandville Man Arrested After Unwanted Physical Contact

Just before one in the morning on Sunday, November 3rd, officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Route 11 in the Town of Cortlandville for a reported physical dispute. During an investigation, officers determined 32 year old Jordan R. Mahunik of Cortlandville, had subjected a person to unwanted physical contact.

The Sheriff’s Office says Mahunik fled the scene prior to their arrival. He was located by officers the following day, November 4th, and arrested on the charge of Harassment in the 2nd, a Violation. Mahunik was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed, arraigned and later released on his own recognizance.

Mahunik is due in Cortlandville Town Court later this month.
