Cortlandville Man Arrested After Abusing Elderly

Last Wednesday, March 5th, Cortland County Sheriff’s Officers were called to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center for an elder abuse allegation. 

During the investigation it was found that Robert Morris of Cortlandville had physically abused an elderly person he knew.

Morris was arrested, charged with Felony Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person and Harassment, a violation. He was then released on his own recognizance after being arraigned by the Centralized Arraignment Process, due in Town of Cortlandville Court tomorrow, March 12th.
