Cortlandville, Homer, and Preble Fire Departments Respond to 2nd Alarm Fire in Tully for Mutual Aid

It was just after 12:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, March 31st when the Tully Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at a residence located on Long Road in Tully.


Tully Fire said in a release the alarm was upgraded to a second alarm working fire after the arrival of chiefs from both Tully and Otisco Fire Departments. The second alarm brought in additional departments from Onondaga County and Cortland County; including Cortlandville, Homer, and Preble Fire Departments.

Firefighters set up a fill site area for tanker trucks for water supply. Tully Fire says the fire was out after 60 minutes from time of call. No one was at the residence during the fire and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Onondaga County Fire Investigators.
