Regan Development will not proceed with its housing and retail proposal across from Walmart in Cortlandville.
An email from the developer to the town of Cortlandville points to objections from a state regulatory agency to provide money to a mixed use project of housing and retail close to mines and gravel pits at the rear of the site.
The company, EP Land Services, told the town it will try to find another location.
