A successful application process will bring $500,000 to the Town of Cortlandville from the Community Development Block Grant program. Majority of the funds will go towards housing rehabilitation and new construction projects.
The Community Development Block Grant provides fundings to towns with less than 50,000 people and offers affordable housing and satisfactory living environments. The grant is part of a program run by New York state.
