Cortland YWCA Says Tickets Are Still Available For 2025 Dream Big Cash Raffle – Could Win Up to $5,000

The YWCA of Cortland still has tickets available for their 2025 Dream Big Cash Raffle with the 1st prize awarding $5,000 if all tickets are sold. The YWCA of Cortland only has 250 raffle tickets available for the fundraiser at $100 per ticket. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a raffle ticket. The drawing will take place at noon on Friday, October 3rd.

Second prize for the raffle will be in the amount of $1,000 followed by $500 for third place. All proceeds will go to benefit YWCA Cortland Programs. The Dream Big Cash Raffle is now in its seventh year, being created in 2018.

“The idea of holding a large cash raffle was so that we could have a simple way to bring in money for our programs while making it fun for our volunteers to sell tickets to friends, family, and coworkers,” said Kimberly Stevens, member of the YWCA Cortland Development and Communications Committee and former Board member. “It gives community members another way to support a great local nonprofit organization besides attending events or supporting other fundraising campaigns.” Kim Stevens is a long-time supporter of YWCA Cortland and the Practice Administrator at Cortland Eye Center, a local business that is a Persimmon Partner.

If all 250 raffle tickets are not sold, a percentage of the prize money based on the total number of tickets sold will be awarded. You can purchase tickets at the YWCA Cortland front desk during normal business hours. More information on the raffle, you can contact Robyn Hayes, Director of Development at (607) 753-9651.
