The Cortland Youth Bureau has begun a hydrant helper scavenger hunt in the City of Cortland for those looking to participate in a chance to win some ice cream.
To participate in the scavenger hunt, you must first grab a paint bucket from the Cortland Youth Bureau or the Fire Department and find one of the numbered fire hydrants (found HERE).
All you’ll have to do is take a photo of you painting the hydrant and show it to the staff at the Youth Bureau at their office on Port Watson Street to claim the prize. Ensure the hydrant is visible in the picture and you have the street name of where the hydrant is located at.
The prize is a small ice cream cone from the Frosty Caboose on Homer Ave. More information may be found at HERE.
