Officials with the Cortland County Family YMCA have announced the opening of a small walk-in community food pantry.
The service will be available for anyone needing it during the organization’s hours of operation. Donations are welcome and can include items such as baby food, toiletries, crackers, juices, bottled water, fruit cups and much more. Anyone wishing to make a contribution may do so by using the drop off box by the front door of the Y.
With many community members struggling to make ends meet, the YMCA is hoping to offer some assistance wherever it’s needed.
