Cortland YMCA Pool Closes Through New Year For Repairs

The Cortland County YMCA says their pool is now officially closed through January 3rd, 2026, to facilitate much-needed repairs. The organization says the pool has been losing about 2 inches of water a day due to a leak in the pool pump.

The repairs required the pool to be drained, leading to its closure. Members of the Cortland YMCA will be allowed to swim however at the YMCA of Ithaca & Tompkins County and the Central NY YMCA during the closure free of charge with a nationwide membership.

The YMCA of Cortland says the repairs will bring longevity to the pool for years to come.
