Several fights broke out after a free State Fair concert Sunday night (September 2), resulting in one teen being stabbed and three other people arrested.
One of those arrested was 29-year old Yakua Banks of Cortland, who resisted officers that were breaking up the fights outside the Byrne Dairy on State Fair Boulevard following a rap concert at Chevy Court.
As a result of one of the fights, State Police say a 17-year old male was taken to Upstate Medical Center with a stab wound in his chest.
He’s now physically stable but not cooperating with them on the investigation.
A 20-year-old female was also sent to Upstate after she and another female she was fighting with fell through a glass area near the food stand.
Earlier in the evening, the Solvay Fire Department also assisted Troopers with removing 30 teens from the roof of a restroom building at Chevy Court.
State Police are still investigating the stabbing and the fights.
