Cortland Woman Arrested For Shoplifting at Walmart

A Cortland woman was charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor, following a larceny investigation at Walmart in Cortlandville. Officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the store just after 5pm on Wednesday, November 20th.

The Sheriff’s Office says 21 year old Kate O. Rossi of Cortland was determined to have stolen from the store. She was arrested and charged by officers. She was taken to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released on an appearance ticket. Rossi is due in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
