Cortland Woman Arrested For Shoplifting at Walmart

On Monday, June 24th, officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart around 4:30 in the afternoon for a larceny complaint. The Sheriff’s Office says after an investigation, they determined 28 year old Cassandra A. Morgan of Cortland, had stolen from the store before she then left the scene.

Officers were able to locate Morgan and arrest her on a Petit Larceny charge, a Misdemeanor. She was taken to the Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and later released on an appearance ticket. Morgan is due in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
