Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart last night around 9:30 pm for a larceny complaint.
An investigation by officers found 39 year old Amy L. Barber of Cortland, had stolen merchandise from the store. She was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor.
Barber was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released on an appearance ticket. She is due to appear in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
